Sell or swap your unwanted gift cards on Plastic Jungle

There’s nothing worse than receiving a generous gift card that you know you’ll never use. If you’ve got a few such cards lying around, you might be able to sell or swap them on the website Plastic Jungle.
To get rid of unwanted gift cards (with a $25 balance or greater), you can sell them to the site or exchange them for Amazon gift cards of even greater values. You can also claim others’ trash as your own treasure by purchasing cards at rates discounted anywhere from about five to 15 percent. A quick troll through available cards reveals a writer’s wonderland of offers. You can use your new riches on books at Barnes & Noble or Borders, electronics at Best Buy or Radio Shack, office supplies at Office Depot or Staples, or even a coffee break at Starbucks.
Don’t see anything you like? You can also choose to donate the trade-in value of your unused balances to a charity of your choosing. Ask your favorite nonprofit to contact the site so that you can turn your unneeded gift cards into their truly needed gifts. |
