Anya looked down at her and smiled. They had both been through so much, in so little time. They had done things, seen things no adult would ever even dream of. From the valley of candy mountain down to the Lake of the mages, Anya and Blossom had shared adventures like no other. They had fought together to save the Kingdom's princess, and even found themselves in peril on their way for nothing but a cup of tea. Dragons, elves, dwarfs and unicorns. All was part of the past, but the memories were so powerful and lively that no one would ever believe they were real. But they were real to her. As she looked down at Blossom their eyes locked for what seemed a lifetime. Anya picked her up and hugged her tight, just as she had done so very long ago. After all, she was no longer a girl, but Blossom would forever be her best friend, her soulmate in myth and reality, her favourite toy.

It was a sun drenched day, with the smell of magnolias in the air and the sky was as blue as the eyes of my granddaughter. Today was a special day, it was my birthday. My present for the day was to have a date with the sweetest redhead it the world.
When I arrived my daughter greeted me. "So are you ready for your big date Dad?" "That I am. I can't wait! Where is she?" I asked excitedly. "She's in her room." She said.
As I entered the room I kicked a toy cup. She had arranged them in a place setting order on the floor. "Oh excuse me." I said. "That is okay Grandpa. Would you like some tea before we go?" "Why yes I would." I said as I moved toward the floor to sit.
On the way down to the floor I felt a sudden pain in my chest. I thought that I had just strained myself getting down.
"Would you like some toast?" she asked. "Okay as long as I can have some jelly." She pretended to spread some.
"Allright, are you ready to go to the park?" I asked her. "Yep!" She exclaimed.
I started to get up from the floor, I pushed up with my left arm and suddenly a pain shot through it. I collasped back on to the floor and I had the sense of a dull heavy weight sitting on my chest. i looked at my little girl and trembling I told her. "We'll have to cut short our date sweetie, get your momma."

I'm trying to lose weight. I thought of walking around the park, then I did a light jog. My body started to tremble and ache, I rested on a bench my head in my hands. A kid threw a toy at me, and laughed. His mother came over and apologized for his behavior, and handed me a cold glass of water. I thanked her and went walking home.
