A weekly writing exercise to get you started

Use these bare bones of dialogue to create a scene between two people. Add setting, character, action and emotion to fill in the gaps:
“The sun's almost down.”
“Won’t be long now.”
“Why do we have to wait until it’s dark?”
“Ask him when he gets here.”
“Are you ready?”
“Are you?”
