Short Story Materials

By Louis L'Amour
Published: January 26, 2007
Well-known author Louis L'Amour writes that "A great deal has been written about the technique of writing the short story, and too little about the material that makes up the body of the story. As there are only thirty-six dramatic situations, all stories must depend for their originality upon treatment, and the material used in the development of the story."
