One on one with Rita CosbyONLINE EXCLUSIVE

May 18, 2010 Imagine interviewing prime ministers and presidents, winning multiple Emmy awards and other awards, and writing a first book that becomes a bestseller. Sounds like a dream many writers would like to have. But Rita Cosby has lived that dream, juggling her writing with a career in television that led to her current work as special correspondent for Inside Edition.
Cosby’s latest book, Quiet Hero: Secrets From My Father’s Past is scheduled for release May 18, 2010. Cosby recounts her journey into her father’s personal history, beginning with the day she discovered a well-worn Polish Resistance armband and rusty prisoner tags imprinted with "Stalag IVB" among other items in an old suitcase belonging to her mother. Her mother had died tragically years earlier—she and Cosby’s father divorced when the author was a teenager.
