Genre organizations

Each of these organizations has a magazine as well as an online forum or newsletter and regional chapters. Some require professional credits for full membership, but you can still subscribe to the publications and visit the public pages of their Web sites. They host annual national conventions, plus smaller regional events.

Horror Writers Association (HWA)
June. Offers mentoring and members-only anthologies.
