Imagine yourself at a familiar place, one that you visit every day, like a subway station, parking garage, or park bench. They all seem safe and friendly when filled with or surrounded by people, but what would happen if you ended up there in the middle of the night? Write about it, allowing your imagination to fill the looming shadows with creatures and the empty silence with sound.
