10th annual event: Whole Novel Seminar & Retreat. Collegial, open-clinic format for 16 advanced writers. In-person partial or full novel critique(s) by EDITOR Simon Boughton (senior vice president and publisher of Roaring Brook Press, First Second, and Farrar, Straus & Giroux), AGENT Emily Sylvan Kim (president; Prospect Agency), and AGENT Joe Monti (Barry Goldblatt Literary). FEATURES include in-depth novelcrafting, and discussion among savvy peers who may read enrollees' manuscripts in advance. Also: post-workshop retreat, and/or Faculty Mentor Program for selected enrollees. A concurrent teen workshop provides adults with target-reader feedback. Intimate format and mealtimes provide personal/professional networking. All at an inspirational, serene beachfront setting!
