$25 entry fee per piece submitted. Contestants may submit unlimited entries, but must pay $25 for each work submitted.

Grand Prize: $1,500; Domestic airfare (up to $500) and French Quarter accommodations to attend the 2013 Festival in New Orleans; VIP All-Access Festival Pass ($500 value); Public reading at a literary panel at the 2013 Festival (March 20-24); Publication in Louisiana Literature

Our Annual Fiction Contest accepts submissions by mail and online from June 1st through November 15th each year.

The judge of the Fifth Annual Fiction Contest is Michael Cunningham, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of the novels A Home at the End of the World, Flesh and Blood, The Hours, and Specimen Days.
