In honor of the First Amendment, the right to vote and all the things that make an election year special, Allvoices.com is proud to sponsor “The American Pundit,” a breakthrough political writing contest designed to empower citizens so their voices can be heard, noticed and rewarded.
It offers a substitute to talking heads — the authentic, uncensored, unfiltered views of everyday people — and it also pays for good writing. Four monthly winners receive $250 apiece, and the Grand Prize winner will receive $5,000 after the November elections. A runner-up will be awarded $1,000.
