$45 per script submission (tax deductible; all proceeds go to the charitable work performed by the Rx Laughter organization).
Semi-finalists receive coaching on how to take and give script notes and how to prepare for and follow through on meetings within the entertainment industry, plus information about the "unwritten rules" of the entertainment industry.
Finalists will have their script read by a combination of 1) tv
Submit spec scripts for a 30-minute comedy show for any primetime cable or network (no screenplays, dramas or other original material of any kind accepted).
Submissions will be read first by Sherry Dunay Hilber (2009 Writer's Workshop story analyst for Warner Bros.; CBS Diversity Institute; ABC/Disney Talent Development Fellowship Program; the founder and executive director of Rx Laughter; and a veteran primetime network executive for ABC and CBS Entertainment)
