Michelle Obama’s memoir, Becoming, was a top contender on the bestselling lists of 2019; now her husband takes the top spot of 2020 with the heavily-anticipated first volume of his presidential memoirs. The book was named one of the best books of the year by a number of news outlets, including the New York Times, NPR, and The Washington Post, and sales skyrocketed for the title despite it only being released on November 17th.
