2011: The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Final position in Top 100: #5

Top-selling book of the year (if different): Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson

By 2011, Stieg Larsson fever had been surpassed by fervor for The Hunger Games, aided by Suzanne Collins completing her trilogy with Mockingbird in August 2010. All three trilogy installments landed in the top 11, although none could take the top four spots: Walter Isaacson’s popular Steve Jobs biography finished the year at No. 1, with Heaven is For Real, Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cabin Fever, and StrengthsFinder 2.0 rounding out the top four spots on Amazon’s list.
