Cold Storage by David Koepp

David Koepp may be a first-time novelist, but he’s no stranger to crafting thrilling stories: Koepp wrote the screenplays for Jurassic Park, Spider-Man, Misson: Impossible, and other notable films over the years. In his debut novel, an ex-con, a single mother, and a bioterror operative must race across the country to quarantine a dangerous organism before it destroys life on Earth. The film rights to the story have already been acquired by Paramount.

In a starred review, Booklist calls it “a rich, textured, and downright impossible-to-put-down story.” (Out Sept. 3, 2019)
