Frankly in Love by David Yoon

One of the most anticipated YA books of fall is easily David Yoon’s debut novel Frankly in Love, which stars a Korean-American high school senior falling in love for the first time – falling in love with a white girl while his parents expect him to only date Korean girls, that is. Though the book is Yoon’s first novel, he’s no stranger to the YA publishing scene, having previously done all the illustrations for his wife Nicola Yoon’s bestselling novel Everything, Everything.

School Library Journal calls Yoon’s debut “an outstanding novel where the emotions are deeply felt but honestly earned” in a starred review. (Out Sept. 10, 2019)
