Amazon announced its top 20 overall books of the year in addition to 20 standouts in each of the site’s main book categories. Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments took home top honors of the year. Find the rest of Amazon’s picks here

 

Barnes & Noble 

Barnes & Noble booksellers around the country nominated these eight titles in a variety of genres (including a children’s book and a cookbook) for its Book of the Year honor. B&N will announce the winners in the next coming weeks. Check out the finalists here.

Kirkus Reviews is steadily releasing a slew of “Best of 2019” lists in the next few weeks. The adult fiction lists debuted first, including “best 2019 fiction to get your book club talking” and “best memorable fictional families of 2019.” See them here

 

The New York Public Library

The NYPL released a long list of accomplished titles for kids, teens, adults, and poetry lovers. They also provided a list of acclaimed titles for young readers in Spanish. Find all their recommendations here.
