Emma by Jane Austen
In theaters February 21
It’s been more than 20 years since we’ve seen a film adaptation of Jane Austen’s beloved novel Emma: Gwyneth Paltrow headlined the most recent film adaptation back in 1996, while Alicia Silverstone starred as the Emma-inspired heroine Cher Horowitz just one year earlier. Now Anya Taylor-Joy (The Witch, Morgan) takes on the eponymous role alongside Mia Goth as Harriet Smith and Johnny Flynn as George Knightley.
