Less: A Novel by Andrew Sean Greer
Andrew Sean Greer’s Less bested both Elif Batuman’s The Idiot and Hernan Diaz’s In the Distance to take home the Pulitzer Prize in 2018. Longlisted for the Andrew Carnegie Medal for Excellence and the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Fiction, the book also spent time on the New York Times bestseller list. The Pulitzer board called Less “a generous book, musical in its prose and expansive in its structure and range, about growing older and the essential nature of love.”
