Salinger e-books released for the first time tomorrow

Matt Salinger, son of J.D. Salinger, confirmed that his father’s works will become available on e-books for the first time this week.

“There were few things my father loved more than the full tactile experience of reading a printed book, but he may have loved his readers more — and not just the ‘ideal private reader’ he wrote about, but all his readers,” Salinger told the AP Press.

Little, Brown and Company will release all four of the author’s works starting Tuesday.
