BCX – The Boot Camp Extreme Creative Writing Conference is for all serious writers of fiction, nonfiction, and short stories. It is the perfect pre-publication vehicle for every author who wants to improve their writing skills, revise and polish a manuscript, then guide it to publication. It is a respectful “kick in the pants” to increase awareness of bad writing habits while teaching you proven disciplines to elevate your writing to a higher level. BCX will help you by revealing how to analyze your work, identify and fix issues, and develop all aspects of a better story including memorable characters, solid structure, and a solid plot, to developing a professional synopsis and query letter.
BCX is an intensive weekend that can start as an early morning breakfast round table, immerse you all weekend in more than 40 workshops focused on the craft and business of writing, then run late for the “renegade” night owls. You will work with more than 30 established literary agents, professional editors, and veteran educators, who will help remove writing obstacles and set you on the path to success as an author.
