Two things make this conference unique and stand above others: The cost includes entry to all workshops, panels, meals, and pitches to agents and acquisition editors, and attendance is limited to less than 200 (including faculty and volunteer staff) to ensure a quality experience for everyone, and more face time with faculty.
The Keynote Address will be given by Jane Friedman during the closing banquet. Friendman is a well-known and highly respected expert in the publishing industry. In addition to being a columnist with Publishers Weekly and a professor with The Great Courses, Jane maintains an award-winning blog for writers at JaneFriedman.com.
Conference attendees may also register for Friedman’s full-day, intensive Master Class on Sunday, April 22, 2018, at an additional cost of $250.00. This special workshop will focus on Author Platform and will inspire and educate authors in the art and business of building their following.
This year’s faculty of 16 includes agents Danielle Burby of the Nelson Agency, Mary C. Moore of Kimberly-Cameron, and Rhonda Penders, President and CEO of Wild Rose Press.
