Tuition is $1,999. Writers arrange their own lodging and transportation to Paris.
The six-day Left Bank Writers Retreat in Paris includes morning writing sessions and experimenting with style and genres for a maximum of eight writers. Also included: lunch daily, admission to museums and area sights, an excursion to Montmartre, a picnic on the banks of the Seine and a literary tour visiting many of the sites featured in the Woody Allen movie Midnight in Paris and Ernest Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast. The retreat will also include a visit the newly-opened Picasso museum. Other highlights include a Seine boat ride and lunch at the favorite Hemingway café La Closerie des Lilas. The retreat welcomes fiction and memoir writers, poets and playwrights and is hosted by writer and PR professional Darla Worden.
