The cost of the conference is $150 ($99 for members) until April 21 and $165 ($135 for members) on-site.
Description
The North Carolina Writers’ Network Spring Conference will be held on April 27 at the Moore Humanities and Research Administration Building on the campus of the University of North Carolina in Greensboro. The conference features intensive workshops in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction, as well as publisher exhibits, “Lunch With an Author,” readings, an open mic, and the annual “Slush Pile Live!” The faculty included poets Amy Catanzano, Ashley Lumpkin, Charlotte Matthews, and Joseph Mills; fiction writers Jeff Jackson, Kathryn Schwille, and Krystal A. Smith; and creative nonfiction writers Susan Harlan and Eddie Huffman. Poet and essayist Michael McFee will deliver the keynote.
