Renowned, professional writers, including New York Times bestselling authors, combine their skills and knowledge to create a dynamic academy focused on helping students become published authors.
New this year, the academy presents an in-depth course on crime writing taught by a retired law enforcement agent and writer. Students will experience the thrill of crime scene investigation, police ride alongs, pursuit driving and more. Also new, author Jodi Thomas will teach world building, a building block for a book series.
Join us for daily seminars, in-depth courses and special evening events including a movie critique night with Jodi Thomas and the outdoor musical drama TEXAS in the Palo Duro Canyon.
