The 2017 Enizagam Literary Contest for Poetry & Fiction

$1,000 for the winner of each genre.


Enizagam Journal is excited to announce our 2017 Literary Contest judges for poetry and fiction! Matthew Zapruder (Sun Bear, Come On All You Ghosts) will be this year’s poetry judge, and novelist Esmé Weijun Wang (The Border of Paradise) will judge for fiction. In addition to the $1,000 grand prize, winners will receive blurbs about their work from the esteemed judges, publication in the 2017 issue of Enizagam, 2 copies of the journal, and nomination for the Pushcart Prize by Enizagam’s editors.

Fiction submissions should consist of one short story up to 4,000 words long. Entries may be in any literary style, and address any subject. We do not publish novel excerpts, or erotica. Poetry submissions may be up to ten pages long, with no more than one poem per page.
