Entry Fees

Cagibi's 2019 Macaron Prize is now open for entries - accepting fiction, poetry, and non-fiction submissions until midnight February 15.

In Fiction: $18 entry fee for a submission of one story, maximum 4,000 words.
In Poetry: $18 entry fee for a submission of up to three poems.
In Non-fiction: $18 entry fee for one personal narrative essay, maximum 4,000 words.

All entries will also be considered for publication in Cagibi's quarterly online issues.

Prizes

Winners of the 2019 Macaron Prize will receive $500 and publication in Cagibi's inaugural print issue. Winners will be invited to read their work at a public Reading and Issue Launch Event in New York City in May. Second-place winners will also be published in the print issue.
