Description
The Children’s Books Diversity contest aims to promote and amplify diversification of books and authors and to increase non-majority narratives in children’s literature. The focus is on children’s books for and by people of diversity, recognizing all diverse experiences, including but not limited to, people of color, gender, disabilities, body size, ethnicity, culture, and religion. The target age of the book’s readership should be for ages 6 to 12.
