Description
Arizona State University’s Imagination and Climate Futures Initiative is seeking climate fiction stories, across all genres and styles, of 5,000 words or less. The winning story and finalists will be published in a digital anthology, “Everything Change: An Anthology of Climate Fiction, Volume III,” which will be available for free in a variety of formats. Our lead judge is Claire Vaye Watkins, author of the acclaimed climate fiction novel “Gold Fame Citrus.” Claire will join an interdisciplinary group of judges with expertise in climate science, sustainability, and literature. Our judging process will be blind: judges will not have access to any identifying information about the authors, including their names, places of origin, or ages.
