Havok pays authors $10 via PayPal for each story published in an Anthology, and authors will receive one complimentary digital copy of the anthology. The Editor’s Choice winner will receive one free print copy of the anthology, a $100 Amazon gift card, additional literary rewards, and fame. The Reader’s Choice winner (the story that receives the highest reader ranking) will receive one free print copy of the anthology, a $50 Amazon gift card, additional literary rewards, and fame. Two additional “runners-up” will each receive one free print copy of the anthology.
Description
HAVOK is a constant story competition, with rolling deadlines, in which both authors and readers can garner cash, prizes, and social media fame. We publish a daily dose of sharp, memorable fiction under 1,000 words across a variety of genres (mystery, science fiction, comedy, thriller, and fantasy).
Our Season One theme of Rebirth contains an infinite variety of combinations. No matter what you like to write, or what wacky related idea pops into your head, there’s probably a way to make it fit. And if not this time around, there’s always Season Two. The myriad of potential mashups is one of our favorite things, and we think you’ll love it too, once you get the hang of it.
