Description
Rosebud is pleased to announce the fifth biennial Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley Competition for Imaginative Fiction. Original unpublished works of fantasy, science fiction, mystery and horror are welcome, but the editors are also open to any stories that reach beyond the boundaries of those genres, take a variety of literary and creative risks and tell a good story. Ideal length is 1,000 to 3,500 words, but will consider up to 4,500 words. Names may appear on the manuscripts. Authors need not be U.S. citizens.

Send one typed copy of the story, a check for the required reader's fee of $10 payable to Rosebud/Shelley Award, and a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that you can be notified when the winners are announced. You may enter multiple times; a $10 fee must accompany each entry.
