Two $200 first-prize winners (one fiction/nonfiction, one poetry), plus minimum of two runner-up prizes per genre. All winners and runners-up awarded publication. Finalists listed on the website.
Description
Over $500 in total prizes will be awarded to up-and-coming writers of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry. Prose and poetry will be judged separately with one first prize winner per genre. First prize of $200 (one per genre) and $50 runner-up prizes (minimum two per genre). All winners and runners-up will be published in our Spring ’16 Issue. Finalists listed on the website. 12,000 word limit for prose, 40 lines for poetry (up to 3 poems per submission). Simultaneous and multiple submissions allowed. No previously published material. ONLY OPEN TO WRITERS YET TO PUBLISH A BOOK-LENGTH MANUSCRIPT. Deadline: October 15, 2016.
