Description
“Free man, you will always cherish the sea!” wrote Baudelaire. Seas and oceans remain objects of fascination, places of faraway adventures, dotted with strange islands and inhabited by gigantic creatures: whales, sea snakes, krakens… A mysterious world that escapes man’s grasp and attracts him. Who knows what lies beneath the surface? Monsters? Wonderful cities, fruits of an unsuspected civilization where mermaids and descendants of the people of ancient Atlantis live? And why do sailors and adventurers from all sides keep embarking on these liquid immensities? For freedom, as the poet says, or something else?
