Entry Fees
$7.00 per individual submission - If the submission fee is a barrier to your participation in the Awards, we will waive the fee when you submit a Fee Waiver Form.
Teens in grades 7-12 (ages 13 and up) can apply in 11 categories of writing.

Description
The Ray Bradbury Award for Science Fiction & Fantasy offers $1,000 scholarships to students whose writing uses supernatural, magical, futuristic, scientific, and technological themes as a key element of the narrative. To apply, submit your work to any writing category in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards. At the end of your application, opt in to the Ray Bradbury Award for Science Fiction & Fantasy. You will be prompted to include a personal statement on your work.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are the nation’s longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens. Submissions for the 2021 Scholastic Awards open on September 1, 2020.
