Description
We don’t see a lot of politically driven pieces in our slush pile and we’d like to change that. This month, Blue Mesa Review will hold its first annual Winter Flash Contest. We’re accepting micro essays, stories, and poems within the theme of Resistance & Persistence.
Though participating in our political sphere can be debilitating right now, we remain hopeful our voices matter. We know your voices matter. We’re looking for sharp, specific takes on how the past two years have affected you, what resistance and persistence looks like to you, and what’s on your mind regarding our country’s past, present, and future.
Let us help to make your voice heard. Submit from November 15-December 15.
