The first place winning writer will get 2 free copies of the print magazine, featured placement in magazine and website, will be recognized as a special addition to the magazine on the author's and credit pages, and will be featured as a author spotlight on the back cover of the print magazine along with poetry winner.
The second place winning writer will get 2 free copies of the print magazine, standard placement in magazine and website, and will be recognized as a special addition to the magazine on the author's and credit pages.
The third place winning writer will get 2 free copies of the print magazine.

Description

We’re excited to announce that Solstice’s Spring ’22 Fiction Writing Contest is now open for entries.
All of Solstice’s contests are run in partnership with Kada’s Bookstore, and is for English-language writers who are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university.
This Season’s theme is Relationships. The dynamic human relationships between family, friends, partners, etc.
The Fiction Contest accepts entries of stories (2000 – 8000 words) from all genres except children’s.
Entries cost $12 each. Up to 4 submissions will be accepted from a single writer. To enter, purchase a ‘Contest Entry Ticket’ from our online store. Then fill out the submission form and enter the order reference number, along with your submission as a PDF or word.doc, in the form below. Only entries with valid order reference numbers will be considered.
This Season’s theme is Relationships. How relationships involve social associations, or connections, between two or more people. How they vary in their degree of intimacy, in their duration, in their reciprocity, in their power distribution, and so on. How they vary from family relations, friendship, marriage, relations with associates, work, clubs, and neighborhoods. How they may be regulated by law or custom.
