Description
As with our regular poetry submissions, we seek poems which resonate with the power and beauty of the English language; poems which show what is extraordinary about the common and what is common about the extraordinary. Send us 3-5 unpublished poems per entry. We prefer that single poems be no longer than one page in length.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st ($125), 2nd ($75), and 3rd ($50) place poems as chosen by the Streetlight’s poetry editor, Sharron Singleton. All winning poems will be published in the winter issue of the Streetlight Magazine website on January 13, 2017.
Deadline for entries is January 6, 2017 (midnight EST).
