Poetry: $1000, VIP Festival pass, a public reading at the Festival, publication in 64 Parishes magazine.
Fiction: $1500, domestic airfare (up to $500), accomodations in the French Quarter, VIP Festival pass, public reading at the Festival, and publication in Louisiana Literature.
Short Fiction: $500, VIP Festival pass, a public reading at the Festival, publication in New Orleans Review.
One-Act Play: $1500, VIP Festival pass, a professional staged reading at the Festival, publication in Bayou magazine.

Description

The annual writing contest is open to domestic and international writers who have not yet published a book. All submissions must be original work that has not been published or produced. For specific guidelines for submission, please visit our website.
