Prizes
Four $250 prizes awarded monthly through November. A grand prize of $5,000 will be awarded in December, with one runner-up receiving $1,000 and one entrant receiving an honorable mention along with $250.
Description
The American Pundit political writing contest, sponsored by Allvoices.com, aims to give talented writers a high-visibility platform to share their political opinions while paying them for good writing. Writers with a keen interest in American politics are especially encouraged to participate. Entries should be 400-1,000 words, written in the manner of newspaper op-ed columns or commentaries.

A pair of winners will be announced twice a month, with those four writers receiving $250 apiece and earning the opportunity to compete for the $5,000 grand prize.
