This contest is sponsored by the University of New Orleans Writing Workshops Abroad and affiliated with the UNO Creative Writing Low-Residency Program.

UNO was ranked as one of the top 25 underrated creative writing MFAs in the country, and creative writing director M.O. Walsh was named one of Entertainment Weekly’s “25 Stars on the Rise for 2015.” The low-residency MFA program can be completed in just over two years for approximately $25,000,* including tuition and fees for three summers abroad.

* Award is not transferable or redeemable as cash and must be used in 2016. $25,000 is based on current University of New Orleans tuition and fees.
