Description
Yemassee, a nationally recognized and continuously-published 26 year long literary magazine, is now accepting submissions for its 6th annual Poetry Chapbook prize. Past winners include Stegner Fellow Taneum Bambrick’s Reservoir and m mick powell’s Chronicle the Body.
Yemassee’s 2020 Poetry Chapbook prize will be judged by Gabrielle Cavolcoressi.
To enter, submit one chapbook with 20-26 pages of poetry (title page, dedication, etc. does not count). An entry fee of $18 must accompany each entry.
The author of the winning poetry chapbook will receive $1250 and 25 copies of their chapbook. Author input on cover art will be considered. The editors will select ten finalists and pass those submissions on to the guest judge. The ten finalists will receive acknowledgment.
Only online submissions through Submittable will be accepted. Post or email submissions will not be considered.
