You’d be hard-pressed to find a wider selection of writing workshops than this multi-week festival in Iowa City, home to iconic literary notables like the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and The Iowa Review.

Kansas

Kansas Authors Club Convention*

Writers can attend workshops and panels on a wealth of different subjects, including biography, historical nonfiction, YA fiction, and songwriting; the conference also gives out a number of literary awards at multiple ceremonies throughout the weekend.
