The Casualist is a glossy online lifestyle magazine that’s a little rough around the edges. Think reviews of video games, whiskey, craft beer, no-fuss beauty tips and more – all geared toward women. Because we firmly believe that yoga isn’t the only way to unwind.
We’re currently accepting pitches for 300-400 word articles with an emphasis on mobile game reviews (for iOS or Android), food and drink, beauty, style and generally fun stuff.
You can send your pitch (no longer than a paragraph, please) to [email protected]. If we intend to move forward with your idea, you can expect to hear from us within three business days. Pay is $0.08/word.
We also have a limited capacity to accept longer articles (1000+ words) on broader trends in areas that aren’t typically covered in a women’s magazine.
For these longer pieces, pay is $0.10/word. Please send pitches to [email protected]. Because we’re currently only able to publish a small number of these larger stories, we can’t guarantee a quick response time, so please be patient and know that we’re reading everything you send us. We’re hoping to make this a regular part of our publishing in the very near future, so keep us in mind!
