Description
Concentrations in fiction, nonfiction, memoir, poetry and screenwriting. 48 credit-hour curriculum, Master of Fine Arts. Workshops include short fiction, novel, memoir, screenwriting, creative nonfiction, poetry, form and theory. Emphasis on completion of book-length creative thesis. Alums include Dennis Lehane (Mystic River) and Richard Blanco, inaugural poet. Approximately 50% of students earn teaching assistantship. Publication: Gulf Stream Magazine.
