Schiffer Publishing was founded in 1974 and has remained a family-owned, independent publisher of high- quality, nonfiction and children’s books. We pride ourselves on publishing content in diverse subjects that fuel our readers’ passion. From our traditional subjects of antiques and collectibles, arts and crafts, and military history, to contemporary art and artists; architecture and design; food and entertaining; the metaphysical, paranormal and folklore; and pop and fringe culture, as well as books for children.
We are looking for fresh voices who are passionate about creating quality content that will inspire, entertain, and educate. We enjoy working with first-time authors and accept unsolicited submissions, provided they follow our guidelines on our website. Please keep in mind that we do not currently accept submissions for fiction books, autobiographies, memoirs, or poetry books.
