Organizational members, 50 strong are located Southeast of Seattle among a number of towns, and members are also out of state in six different states.

Critique groups meet in different cities/towns and venues other than our Quarterly General Meetings

10am-noon (does not include critiques meetings)

Additional Information

We support a number of Critique groups; some topical, such as poetry, novel writing, memoir writing, and essays. We offer to open new groups as necessary to accommodate newest members and their interests.

Plateau Area Writers Association, is a gathering of accomplished and aspiring writers, is dedicated to forming writer’s critique groups, encouraging our writers’ creative efforts through publications and providing community services while huddled in the shadow of Mt. Rainier in the plateau area of Southeast King & Northeast Pierce counties, Washington.
