Align Your Story is a unique online writing class that brings together lessons, close readings, writing prompts, meditation and yoga with an ongoing facebook community and support from the instructor Nadia Colburn, PhD. The course is for poets, memoir writers, fiction writers and writers of creative nonfiction who want to go deeper with their writing and create their best work. It guides you through eight modules, free writing, deep listening, resistance, joy, childhood, revision, alignment, and writing for life. Close readings include texts by such authors as Rebecca Solnit, Lucille Clifton, Rumi, Mary Oliver, Tolstoy, Ann Lamott, Emily Dickinson, Zora Neal Hurston and many many others.
