Grow your book with BOOKGARDAN, a year-long program designed for serious writers of literary fiction, nonfiction & mixed genre who could benefit from structure, mentorship, and the support of a small, talented cohort of fellow writers to complete or significantly develop a book project over a year.

Residencies: October 1-7, 2018 & September 30-October 7, 2019 at Craigardan

Bookgardan begins and ends with week-long intensive residencies at Craigardan Arts Center in the Adirondacks of upstate New York, and includes 11 months of one-on-one submissions & conferences, video tutorials, and online group seminars, Q&As with guest writers & publishing professionals, and optional workshops. Led by Kate Moses of Birds & Muses, author of internationally acclaimed novel Wintering and Cakewalk: A Memoir, former founding editor & staff writer at Salon, senior editor at North Point Press, teacher & mentor with three decades’ experience.
