Rewilding and Renewal Poets’ Retreat

Nov. 4-5, 2023.

This virtual event focuses on the relationship between nature and writing practice. Catalina Marie Cantú leads a workshop titled “Rewilding Language: Connections to our ancestral language,” which explores the ways in which to reclaim one’s home language. CMarie Furhman will present on “Building Resilience through Our Relationship with Wildness,” guiding writers in considering Indigenous language, theology, witchcraft, and tarot as a way of restoring creativity in a culture of busyness.

Cost includes the workshops limited to 15 students, plus a reception with the instructors and fellow participants, as well as the opportunity to read work in the 2023 Authors and Artists Festival. Bonus content includes informal group sessions with Human Error Publishing’s Paul Richmond, who invites writers to ask any and all questions about publishing.
